Favorable Projection on Human Race

In the year 3000 our human race will hopefully be advanced. Both technology wise and in our own humanity. In my mind we will move past petty selfishness and understand that we are all in this together. We would have learned to treat each other with respect, understanding, and dignity. We understand our place on this Earth and do not try to overstep our boundaries. There are no wars or other wastes of life, for we have implemented what great men have advocated for throughout history, that is, peaceful solutions. Finally we comprehend our existence and live a life of unity. You may read this and make the judgment that I am naive or have not experienced the "real world". If you believe so, I ask you if your hopes are not as big as your vision then what is the point?

Quote Relating

''It was the best of times, it was the worst of times'' - Charles Dickens
High school relates to this quote in that it is a love/hate time of your life. While you are going through high school you may enjoy it or you may loathe it, but you will always remember it. One looks back on those four years as he/she grows older and with a little more wisdom they realize that that time molded them. In essence, high school is a place to find yourself and that's easier to do for some more than others. There is beauty in that journey and through it we mature, develop our specific opinions and beliefs, and grow to be our adult selves. In short, high school is both a hard time and a great time, but above all a vital one.
